The first Dell laptops to receive Intel’s Evo certification are XPS 13 2-in-1, XPS 13 and XPS 13 Developer Edition.
What does this means? It means that they can support fast charging, run for at least nine hours on a single charge and wake from sleep in nanoseconds.
With support for up to 32GB of RAM, all three systems will have Thunderbolt 4 ports and memory upgrades ranging from 3733MHz LPDDR4x to 4267MHz.
Interestingly, the updated XPS-13 2-in-1 and XPS 13 will offer Intel Xe graphics as well. And, on top of that, the 2-in-1 has an IR camera that comes with Windows Hello and more design options.
Linux users, there is something for you too! The Linux-based Developer Edition is pre-loaded with Ubuntu 20.04LTS and the company is targeting a maximum battery life of nearly 19 hours. It also boasts an updated, InfinityEdge FHD+ display.
In terms of looks, all three models will be available in platinum silver with black carbon fiber interior and frost with arctic white woven glass interior.
The devices are currently available in US & Canada. The company will start selling all three laptops in some European and Asian countries including India, within the next few weeks.
These laptops in India will be available in Dell exclusive shops, like Digital Dreams Dell Exclusive Store in Jaipur and Jodhpur.
